There\u2019s only one road up and down from Milford Sound to Queenstown and it took us about four hours on the winding road to get there. I drove for the first time since we arrived in NZ. It\u2019s definitely weird to drive on the left side of the road with the steering wheel on the right, and I kept putting the wipers on when I meant to use my signal because that\u2019s opposite too. We arrived safely, so I guess I did OK \ud83d\ude2c. The views were great again as it was another gorgeous day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were supposed to stay in Te Anau a few more days, but we cancelled our hotel reservation as there really isn\u2019t much in that town and we wanted to explore more of Queenstown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we arrived at the motel, we threw in a load of laundry as soon as we arrived because our dirty clothes outweighed the clean ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For dinner, we drove back to Arrowtown at the suggestion of Stuart at Mt. Rosa Lodge, to eat at an Italian restaurant called Aosta. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Great call Stuart, thanks! We had another delicious meal with the most amazing focaccia to start and a unique tiramisu for dessert that our server whipped up right at our table. It was as tasty as it looked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
